Community Guidelines

Last updated: June 25, 2026

What is this line for? (“WITLF”) is built by and for people who want honest, real-time info about lines in NYC. By being a part of the WITLF community, you agree to the following:

1. Be respectful

Do not harass, threaten, or target others. Hate speech, slurs, or discrimination are not allowed. Do not post comments intended to provoke or antagonize. Be respectful to event staff and other people on line.

2. Respect privacy

Do not share or threaten to share personally identifiable information of an individual without consent. Do not post photos that single out or target specific individuals.

3. Keep it real

Do not share false or misleading information. Only share wait times, comments, reviews, and line reports based on what you actually saw or experienced. Do not report fake lines or create businesses or events that do not exist.

4. Keep it relevant

Content should be focused on the line or experience. No spam, advertising, or self-promotion. No NSFW or graphic content. Do not use the app to promote illegal activity.

5. Act in good faith

Do not manipulate wait times, chat updates, or reviews to mislead others. Do not impersonate a brand, event staff, another user, or WITLF admin. Do not create multiple accounts to get around enforcement. If you see something that violates these guidelines, report it instead of engaging.

Reporting and blocking

You can report content or other users directly in the app — look for the Report option on posts, profiles, reviews, comments, and chat messages. You can also block other users, which hides their content from you.

We aim to address objectionable content promptly, generally within 24 hours, though response times may vary.

Enforcement

If you step out of line, we may remove content, issue warnings, warn or suspend your account, or restrict or ban your access to WITLF. Enforcement is at our discretion. To appeal a decision, contact us.
